Tommy McGrath founded Carolina Drone Productions in 2017 with the goal of using visual storytelling to capture some of life’s most beautiful moments and places. His goal from the beginning has been to evoke viewers with a sense of awe - inspiring them to make the most on their time here on earth. Carolina Drone Productions believe business and life are inextricably linked, and we all have a responsibility to use our talents and resources to make a positive impact in the world. Through visual storytelling, Carolina Drone Productions is proud to partners with businesses across many industries: Including Real Estate, Nonprofits, Corporations, Weddings, Landscape, Music, and Sustainable Development.

Tommy started Carolina Drone Productions with the hopes of forming meaningful partnerships with realtors across Western North Carolina. His goal has always been to stay ahead of the trends to create top-of-the-industry real estate productions - with a 10 AM, next-day delivery. He has been fortunate enough to have photographed over $500 million dollars worth of real estate since 2017 all across North America. His degree in Business Management from Appalachian State University has helped him hone in on the systems it takes to consistently create the ideal real estate marketing experience, while building lasting partnerships along the way.
Nelson Stegall

Nelson is a professional photographer with a passion for nature, landscapes, wildlife, adventure, and conservation. His lifestyle has taken him on amazing adventures to see what most people have only read about or seen on TV: traveling the remote backcountry of Alaska, rafting the Colorado River through Grand Canyon, kayaking 350 miles across Florida + Georgia, and visiting all 50 states. Nelson’s photos have been published in Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, various local newspapers, the Slow Photography Movement website, on huge billboards, and have graced the cover and interior of the book Make Some Room by Angie Mattson Stegall. He has been interviewed and held multiple speaking engagements about his adventures.
